Yes, at the time of making your reservation, we will confirm with you the level of experience you have and how comfortable you feel with the horses. This will help us choose the horse that best suits your level. In addition, our guides will be in charge of giving you instructions so that you learn and enjoy the ride, always under their expert supervision and accompaniment.

The experience takes place in a rural area, completely surrounded by nature, 1.5 hours away from Mexico City. The distance from a central area (Historic Center, Roma, Condesa, Polanco) is approximately 90 km, of which 30 will be within the city and the rest by road to reach the countryside in the state of Hidalgo.
The first option to get there is taking a bus from the Central de Autobuses del Norte, this must be previously coordinated with the Tierra de Hidalgos team, in order to schedule transportation from the bus stop on the highway to the ranch.
Also, by prior request of visitors we can coordinate transportation by car. The departure point and price vary according to the number of people traveling (estimated 35 usd per person, depending on the number of riders/visitors. The meeting point could be Condesa-Polanco-Lindavista).

We recommend wearing comfortable jeans or pants (no shorts). Light shirt, preferably long sleeves -to protect you from the sun-, something extra to cover up in case it gets cold. As for footwear, wear comfortable, closed shoes, without heels (boots or sneakers are the preferred options).

This experience is designed to be enjoyed all day. Usually the departure from CDMX is in the morning, before breakfast and the return is after lunch (consider that in Mexico this is around 3pm, so you will be back in the City at approximately 5pm). Remember that the tour is outdoors and you may be tired when you return.

Yes, our visit is accompanied by food before and after the horseback ride. We take into consideration the food preferences and restrictions of each visitor, adapting our options of ingredients and regional dishes so that you can try the local gastronomy.
Ask about our personalized experiences if you want a different preparation (a specific dish or to celebrate a special occasion).
